“You’re impossible to please you know that? I’m not good enough, nothing is good enough!” You slammed your plate in the sink. 
“Oh this again? Are we really doing this again? Grow up and get over yourself, you’re being childish.” Kai shot back. You held back your tears
“I’m being childish? Who can blame me? I’m sorry if I don’t feel like i’m good enough for Korea’s little prince. You get over yoursel-” He slapped you. You stumbled back hitting the cabinet behind you. Kai stood there staring at his hand and then at you. You couldn’t meet his eyes, you pushed past him and ran out of the house. He didn’t chase after you, he just watched you go and slid down the wall, beginning to cry.

It was cold, dark and to top it all off, it was raining. You didn’t even bother to get a suitable pair of shoes. Holding your cheek you sat on a bench under a tree acting like an umbrella. Your slippers and sweatpants were soaked. From that seat you could see the light switching off in your apartment.
Your phone began to ring, you pulled it out of your pocket and wiped it dry. ‘Oppa<3’ You declined the call. He got the message but that didn’t stop him texting you.
‘Come home, it’s cold and wet. I don’t like you out at night,we can talk about this.’ You rolled your eyes and replied with a blunt ‘No.’

Around an hour later you were still sitting in the rain,still crying and your cheek still hurt. You pulled your legs close to you. You knew it wasn’t safe outside at this time at night but you’d rather be out here than face the wrath of Kai again. You closed your eyes.
”___,?” You knew who it was immediately.
“Get away from me!” You yelled, absolutely terrified of him.You stood up and began to ran. “Jagiya, please!” You stopped dead in your tracks. You turned around, he was crying. He looked so alone and despite what he’d done it made your heart break.

He walked up to you and pulled your hair out of your eyes, you flinched.
“D-did I do that? Oh no, no. I can’t, no. Why?” He began to cry again. This again, made your heart break.  
“Opp- no. Kai, stop.”
”___, listen. I didn’t mean it, I never would. I got angry and I shouldn’t have lashed out like that. Clearly I don’t have the decency to not hit a woman, especially not my own girlfriend. I understand if you want to leave, I deserve it. But yeobo, no one will love you the way I do.”   You stood in silence, the rain made the atmosphere even worse and you could see the regret in his eyes. You cupped one side of his face with your hand and your eyes met. You breathed in.
“You hurt me.. I trusted you and, well..” He looked down, you pulled his head back up.
“Well, it was an accident, I can forgive you for that oppa.”  His face lit up and you smiled. 
“I won’t do it ever. Ever. Again, I promise.” He lifted you up in his arms.
Your lips met and between kisses he whispered
“I love you yeobo.” He carried you home.
